Coyote Canyon 1999 Garys' Vineyard Pinot Noir Unfiltered Unfined = 4Attababys! Dark nose of black cherries, strawberries and cinnamon. Big dark bold round flavors of strawberries, cinnamon a hint of cranberry, caramel and toasty flavors of vanilla. A great ride from beginning to end! Round mouthfeel and a long balanced finish that echoes smoky rasberries. The best of the 1999 Garys'. I strongly recommend decanting this wine! Immediately you know this is a seriously delicious wine. As I sipped this deep dark delicious wine the layers of black fruits, plums and hints of smoky vanilla with layers of oak perfectly balance with the tannins and acidity captivated me. I have never experienced a wonderful combination of layers of fruit combined with layers of oak anywhere else but here at Leonetti Cellars! Pair with Walla Walla Onion Soup with cave aged Gruyere!
